The cottage was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The off-street parking was very welcome due to the narrow street. It was ideally located, benefiting from the peace and quiet away from the center of town while being just a stone's throw away from excellent pubs and restaurants. The beautiful cottage had cozy and well-kept interiors, with excellent cooking facilities and a lovely log burner in the living room. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect, with shops and eateries within a short walk.

It was a hassle having to collect and deposit the keys from an office 8 miles away. the steep stairs outside were difficult to navigate, especially in the dark and with bags.

As young families, we loved the cosy and well-kept cottage with excellent cooking facilities. the log burner in the living room added a lovely touch, and the comfortable beds were perfect after a long day exploring the fells. the location, just off the main centre of Ambleside, meant we were close to shops, pubs, and restaurants, with a quick 5 to 10-minute walk into town.
